RIVER AMBASSADORS BUILD
*NEW* CLACKAMAS WATER TRAIL MAP SIGN

Thank you to Bill Collins, Margarita Chmykhalova, Paul Chmykhalov and Josie Cannistra for helping build the first Clackamas Water Trail map sign.

Located near the boat ramp at Riverside Park, the new sign is built with native Oregon woods – juniper, western red cedar, and port orford cedar. Local river rock provides a base.

River Ambassadors – volunteer stewards of the river – cleared the site of noxious blackberry and knotweed, poured footings, built the roof and framing, installed posts, and installed the metal map sign.

Designed by award winning cartographer Dave Imus, the map artfully shows the priority attributes of the Clackamas Water Trail and provides key wayfinding and safety information for people floating or paddling the river.

Check it out – Riverside Park is at 17298 SE Water Ave, Clackamas, OR 97015. Owned and operated by Clackamas River Water, we are all grateful for this free and very accessible local park on the river.
